Ecotopia Biketour ist eine selbstorganisierte internationale Community, die seit 1990 eine jährliche Fahrradtour durch Europa organisiert. Auf der Tour werden soziale und ökologische Projekte besucht und verschiedene Arten von Aktivismus und nachhaltigem Zusammenleben praktiziert. Wir ernähren uns vegan, treffen Entscheidungen per Konsens und versuchen, unser Wissen zu teilen. Es ist einer unserer zentralen Werte, ein diskriminierungsfreies Umfeld zu schaffen. Die Biketour ist für alle, die am Fahrradfahren, gemeinschaftlichen Zusammenleben, Selbstorganisation, Nachhaltigkeit und praktischen Lernen interessiert sind. Im Jahr 2022 werden wir über 3 Monate durch die Niederlande, Belgien, Deutschland und Frankreich radeln. Wir starten am 3. Juli in Amsterdam mit einem einwöchigen Vorbereitungscamp. Dann radeln wir Richtung Süden nach Marseille und verbringen die letzten Wochen entlang einer der schönsten Küsten des Mittelmeers. Der genauere Plan mit den Projekten und Festivals, die wir besuchen werden, wird so bald wie möglich auf die Website gestellt.

Wie bereits erwähnt, wird der Beginn der Tour (3. bis 24. Juli) für FLINTA und LGBTQIA+ sein, während hetero endo cis-männliche Personen gebeten werden, nicht an der Tour teilzunehmen. Auf diese Weise hoffen wir, eine spaßige und empowernde Radtourerfahrung zu kreiren. Die Idee ist auch, das Kollektiv in Richtung einer gleichmäßigeren Organisation und Repräsentation der verschiedenen Geschlechter zu entwickeln, anstelle des Ungleichgewichts zugunsten der cis-männlichen Seite, das in den letzten Jahren auf der Tour und in der Orga zu beobachten war.

Um die Abkürzungen zu erklären: FLINTA steht für endo cis-Frauen, lesbisch, intersexuell, nicht-binär, transgender und asexuell. LGBTQIA+ steht für Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual und diejenigen, deren Identität nicht genau durch die vorgenannten Orientierungen erfasst wird (+).

Niemensch wird aufgrund ihres*seines Aussehens beurteilt oder ausgeschlossen werden.

On the road

Everyone should be able to cycle with the Biketour. Therefore we keep distances low and have scouts going ahead who mark the route. Everyone can follow the signs on their own level of speed. Any tasks like scouting, cooking or pulling a trailer are shared.

Food

All communal food on Biketour is vegan and cooked with wood on our mobile rocket stove.
Whenever it’s possible we go dumpster-diving and buy food from local farmers and small shops.

We have been lucky! Lucky to have been hosted by amazing people in the little vegetable farm in Bygdeå, been invited to their sauna, swimming trips and sharing rhubarb pie … crafting little bycicles with a visiting kid, piling fire wood and singing karaoke!
