Get involved (2017)

The preparation of Ecotopia Biketour 2017 is structured into working groups that work on particular temporary, finishable tasks autonomously. They can create a room in our online chat for themselves, use Skype/Mumble for online conferences, meet in person, write e-mails, or use any other method of communication that they find suitable.

The following working groups exist at the moment. If you want to get involved with one or more of them, please write us to 2017@ecotopiabiketour.net.

  • Route preparation: Find, contact and visit projects on the way, think about things to do on the way, plan the days. The route preparation is split into the following working groups:
    • Route segment 1: Strasbourg–Nancy
    • Route segment 2: Bure–Freiburg
    • Route segment 3: Switzerland
    • Route segment 4: Lyon + Roybon
    • Route segment 5: Ardèche / Cévennes
    • Route segment 6: Rocalet + Pyrenees
    • Route segment 7: Catalunya
  • Promotion: Create flyers, posters and other artwork to promote Biketour 2017
  • Booklet: Prepare a booklet/zine for Ecotopia Biketour 2017
  • Funding: Apply for funding
  • Bank account: Set up an association in Germany and create a bank account
  • Equipment: Get missing and existing equipment to Strasbourg for the start of Biketour 2017

The following tasks always need to be done:
