After 70km through insane wind and rain, we've arrived at the Plataan squats, in Merelbeke, Gent – their cooking is amazing!!! #
Hiding from the rain right now before we cross the border into Belgium, staying tonight in Keiem, West Flanders # Spent a few days in Calais meeting migrants & activists there – shocked at the situation,Had a critical mass for solidarity for sans-papiers # We left Wales 4 weeks ago but @campcymru09 is starting today! Sorry we couldn't be there now but today we arrive in Belgium… #
Going from Ruisseauville to Wierre-Effroy today, arriving in Calais at 13:00 on Monday to make lunch and decide where we are going to stay # Satisfied & wet: in the rain we built foundations of a hut, moved 4000kg of hay, constructed a compost toilet & had a rocket-stove workshop! #
We sucessfully spent the last 5 days making the itinerary up as we went, surprisingly easy to find suitable free camp spots, even in France! # 20-people now, the biketour arrived to a warm welcome at "A Petits Pas" http://www.apetitspas.net/ in Ruisseauville, France #
