Le cyclo-tour Ecotopia est un tour à vélo autogéré organisé depuis 1990 chaque année par un collectif international à travers l’Europe. Pendant le cyclo-tour, nous visitons des projets et lieux qui s’attaquent aux problemes environnementaux et sociaux, et pratiquent du militantisme/activisme et/ou des formes de vie respectueuse de l’environnement. Le tour est vegan, les décisions se font au consensus et nous souhaitons autant que possible organiser des ateliers de transmissions. Le cyclo-tour Ecotopia s’adresse à quiconque est interessé.e par l’idée de voyager à vélo, vivre en communauté, bricoler/DIY, se poser des questions environnementales et apprendre par l’expérience. Online Tools

We try to use free and open-source software as much as possible in the preparation process. The same goes for sharing photos and videos in the group.

On the road

Everyone should be able to cycle with the Biketour. Therefore we keep distances low and have scouts going ahead who mark the route. Everyone can follow the signs on their own level of speed. Any tasks like scouting, cooking or pulling a trailer are shared.

Food

All communal food on Biketour is vegan and cooked with wood on our mobile rocket stove.
Whenever it’s possible we go dumpster-diving and buy food from local farmers and small shops.

We plan and make many activities on the tour: skill-sharing, helping at projects, joining actions and protests, bike-fixing and other events.

Today we arrived at @huntingtonlane nr Telford where we stay for 3 nights to show solidarity with their defense of the land against new coal # Laura's bike was knocked over by strong winds in Yorkshire on Sunday but we are glad to hear she is okay and will rejoin us in Abergavenny! #
