If you would like to join the Biketour this year, it’s very helpful if you register below!

No official name or phone number is necessary. We need the registration to get an overview about with how many people we will be so we can inform our hosts and scale equipment sets, to get an idea of the skills and experiences we will have as a group – and to make it easier for people to join us at different stages of our journey. It would be helpful for us if you registered as early as possible.

It is also useful for the group feeling on the Biketour, because everyone will have read the core values and practices and have a rough idea of the values that the Biketour has, and how we organise.

In bigger groups, people need time to get to know each other and joining participants need time to adjust to the group and learn about the self-organisation processes that we share among us. Therefore it would be nice if you stay with us for a minimum of 1-2 weeks.

Note that August 1-14 there are the Childish weeks.

Please read the pages on our website, particularly the pages in bold below before you register. The Biketour is the exact opposite of an all inclusive flight to the beach so – here is how to get prepared!

Bike and tent sharing: If you need help getting a bike, tent, or other gear, you can find information here and sign up so we organise to pass on bikes and other gear between the people. https://calc.rankenste.in/gearshare2026

Sleeping spot sharing: This year we try out sleeping spot sharing. You can participate here: https://calc.rankenste.in/tentshare2026

Getting to the tour: See the how to get there page on for ideas on how to get to the tour. If you want to organise to travel together with people, you can do that here: https://pad.rankenste.in/p/traveling2026

Money sharing: Please read the money sharing page and decide if you want to request or contribute travel money, or neither. Feel free to make an (anonymous if wanted) note about it here: https://pad.rankenste.in/p/moneytopia2026, which can help others decide.

    Registration form (2026):

    Name *:

No need to provide your legal name.

    Details about your group:

If you're signing up for multiple people, let us know who else is coming (how many adults, kids, dogs...)

    Email address

What is your email address? Please keep in mind that email is usually not encrypted, and even if arranged encryption, it leaves much metadata.

    Signal ID:

If you provide this, we will add you to our Signal chat room where you can get in contact with the preparation group and other participants. Signal is the main way we communicate during the Biketour.

I want to join at a specific DATE:

    or PLACE:

If you have time constraints and want to join us on a specific day, even if we don’t know yet exactly where we will be, please let us know. Note that the Childish Weeks are august 1-14.
If you want to join in a specific place (for example because you live there), even if we don’t know yet when exactly we will be there, type it in here.

I want to leave at a specific DATE:

    or PLACE:

    Commitment:

I have READ the core values and practices and align with them! I understand that the Biketour is a place that wants to fight against all kinds of oppression. *

Get yourself informed on the principles of the biketour before commit to join!

I want to request travel reimbursements:

Please read the page on moneysharing, also for the details and practicalities. It's helpful if you can estimate how much you request. If possible, differentiate between what amount you need in order to comfortably join the biketour, and what amount you'd ideally like to receive.

I want to contribute money to the moneytopia money sharing:

Please read the page on moneysharing. Let us know if you want to contribute money to equalize financial differences and lower financial barriers to joining. We'll reach out to coordinate. Participation is completely voluntary. Consider contributing money if you make/have more than the average ecotopian, if you own your house/apartment, if you have (access to) higher quality gear than the average ecotopian, or if you want to :)

    Emergency contact

Very important in case of an emergency! Please give at least one contact to be informed in case of problems, and how to contact them. We also recommend you keep this information on your person during the tour.
See the note on privacy below.

    Health information

Please let us know about your use of medicines, allergies, chronic diseases and dietary requirements for cases of emergency (e.g. hospitalisation). We also recommend you keep this information on your person during the tour.
See the note on privacy below.

Skills for workshops during the tour or otherwise good to know:

Add anything you would like to share during the tour, or that would be good to know: skills, experiences or inputs (e.g. for workshops, the daily life of the group, networking with locals, doing actions, etc.); vocational trainings / education (e.g. bike technician, carpenter, medic, etc.); and languages.

How did you hear about the Biketour?

Anything else you would like to tell us now?

You won't be automatically sent a copy of this form, so consider saving the info you enter before pressing sent. To prevent spam, please type “Ecotopia” into this field: *

Note on privacy and care of data

The full responses to the registration are stored and can be accessed through the website’s WordPress environment, only by those who have admin rights on the website (currently five people).

The full responses are sent to a separate email account that only a few people have access to. This email account and this group of people changes every year. And the group is chosen so that there are always one or two people on tour who have access to the full responses. The full responses are also copied to a password protected file on cryptdrive. It’s done like this so that there are always one or two people on tour who have access to the medical info and emergency contacts of people on the tour.

A shortened version of each response is sent to the annual shared email address, that around 10-15 people have access to. This version has the responses to the questions about the medical info and emergency contacts excluded.
