Leaving Krupas Na Vrbasu
After leaving Banja Luka we headed to a great camping site next to the river (which I really didn't get the name) where we put up our tents next to the Croatian group that came the day before (like Barry mentioned) especially for the rafting experience on the beautiful Vrbas...
There, at the camp fire, once again we shared stories from last year biketour and ones from after that (during the non-cycling period for some).
At night we found a little puppy wondering around the campsite, that almost became our official company (if we had way to somehow making him come with us...)
We had the media for brunch... or better said: apart from some interviews off-record not nice to recall, we passed quite well our message to all the people seated at home. And that was noticed on the road in the following days, where all kind of people just were approaching us with some lines like "ohh, we're the guys that will go to Moldavia...."
Then, the international mob met the first "real" uphills, under hot sun of course! But lucky there was a nice pause on the side of the road to do some trekking till some castle ruins near a dam (and with this, there's 2 place's names that I can't remember... if anyone can refresh my memory ;)
Next stop: buying lunch! Of course that biketour wants to support local business, buy at open markets and avoid supermarkets or big chains, and that's exactly how biketour started this year's shopping duties... We found almost everything that we needed in the central market of Mrkonjic Grad, and we felt so comfortable there that even forgot there a entire box of tomatoes (paradise ;) ... But don't worry master cook! We'll get them before the closest village shop closes!
This night we've been hosted in Zelenkovac (www.zelenkovac.net , community.webshots.com/album/290998899OgRYir ) by nice people that showed us 2 movies, being the last one a presentation of some of nicest pictures that I ever saw ;) Fantastic people, terrific relaxing environment, great water all around!
Forgot to say that this was also the first day of biketour signs... they're back, so keep an eye on the asphalt!
Nice beginig of your story! I expect more when you find time for that! About river name that we stayed first few nights is KRUPA (veru cold one). Name of the old castle near dam is DABRAC tower. and if you have more question about some names or places, just asked (in BiH)!

Nicea reading about the journey. Please post more photos for us the lazy or unfortunate ones who can't make it along. I know it's difficult to find time and energy to update the blog....
