First Version of new Homepage

finally online!

This is a temporary version of the new thebiketour.net homepage. Feel free, to check it out, look for mistakes, think about ameliorations etc. etc. All Internet Explorer Useres are pleased to check if the layout is presentable on this dummy browser. If not, take mozilla firefox or any other OpenSource browser. Most of all, convince all your friends of doing the same, not only in browser questions ;-)

Short explanation: this page is based on an, of course open source, Content Management System called typo3. I wont explain what it means, thats not important, the only point that interesses us now is, that everyone who wants to pubis, texts, news, images or whatever can do it without having any idea about webdesign and stuff like that.

Pleeeze register an account to be able to join the member section. There will be a forum (for those that do not like IRC cause they prefer taking the bike, cycling around and talk to people directly) and everything else. Feel free.

We will explain later, how you can participate and how we can develop this page to a sustainable base of contacts!
